The GirlGuiding New Zealand Foundation

The purpose of the GirlGuiding New Zealand Foundation is to promote and assist the development of GirlGuiding New Zealand and its work in helping girls and young women to reach their full potential and make a difference in the world.

Scholarships, loans and grants are available from the Foundation for special projects and Guiding activities, as well as for fees or uniforms if parents or caregivers need assistance.

Any enrolled member of GirlGuiding New Zealand can apply and funds are allocated twice a year – at the end of March and at the end of July.

There are some wonderful opportunities – both within New Zealand or overseas including camps, special course and scholarships.  Your financial commitment is essential.  Contributions can be made in the form or donations, bequests or corporate partnerships.

As little as $50 can contribute towards a girl’s fees or uniform so they gain life skills, knowledge and values.

$150 can cover a young woman’s participation fees in leadership development training.

A gift of $500 covers the cost of a girl attending a Discover camp where she can experience challenging outdoor programmes.

$1,000 can contribute towards an airfare to help a young women gain international experiences and the chance to work with people from a wide range of backgrounds.

The GirlGuiding New Zealand Foundation is a charitable trust and contributions are tax deductible.
