Trefoil Guild News
Trefoil catch-up
April 2011
What do you get when four Trefoil Guilds from two regions meet? Lots of buzzing, that’s what. In December Trefoilers from Nelson and Marlborough met at Lake Rotoiti for their Christmas get-together. As each car load arrived members made their way to the T Room for refreshments, then wandered around the environs of the community hall, meeting and greeting each other. The idea was to collect things for each letter of the alphabet. It’s amazing what was found and there was much laughter at some of the adjectives used to describe hard-to-find letters. After sharing ideas, lunch and a campfire we made our way to the chapel overlooking the lake. Guild’s Own in the chapel ended a great day out.
