Westland Trefoil Guild Fundraiser
Westland Trefoil Guild met today to celebrate their very own Royal Wedding.
All attendees wore their appropriate hats to attend such an occasion, and
bought along something from their kitchen, wrapped accordingly for a Royal
Kitchen auction to raise funds for GirlGuidingNZ National Office, in light
of the Canterbury Earthquake.
A total of $52 was raised, with the best auction of the day being $10 for a tin of baked beans.
After a Post Nosh luncheon we were delighted to have our very own Princess Annette of Trefoil the Duchess of Beau visit us as Kate and William were rather busy at this time. Our Princess arrived, dressed in her beautiful wedding gown, with a pink bow in her hair and on the back of her sash and she wore a silver tiara. She brought with her a Chocolate wedding cake with matching pink ribbon, as ordered by Prince William.
A Royal quiz to test our knowledge on the house of Windsor had everyone with their thinking caps on.
After much laughter and hilarity, everyone left with a lovely piece of cake to take home to share.
