Unit helpers are guides and rangers who assist in the planning
and running of pippin, brownie, or guide units. Speak to your district co-ordinator
about this option. Parents and caregivers can be your greatest
source of help. Unit meetings may offer them quality time with their children.
They could help - - assess badges
- with the unit programme in
some way (perhaps even as an assistant unit leader)
- transport girls to
activities
- assist at camps
- by sharing their skills
