Toad

This is Toad, my dog. He is a black pug. We call him snorkel and caterpillar as he has a habit of curling up in his bed and falling asleep and then loudly snoring. Toad was born in Christchurch and is two years old. He is very naughty and aims to steal your socks off your feet when you sit down somewhere.

Toad is very enthusiastic and gets rather flustered when asked ‘do you want to go for a walk?’, or ’where’s your bowl?’. He has a long curled tail just like a pig’s, which he keeps in a tight little coil. When Toad relaxes or is tired it uncurls and only has a single chink in the end of it where it stays curled up. He has lots to love about him and we love him so much.

Jasper

I love my dog Jasper because he is a one of a kind dog. He doesn’t mind wearing girl's clothes, he pulls funny faces, he has the funniest expressions and he’s so handsome that he knows it. He has changed from being a dog who used to hate other dogs to an awesome dog. He’s brilliant at agility, he runs alongside me when I scooter, he drools over anything, he’s dopy and if I pretend to chuck something he will try and find it.

Jasper is so cute, he has lots of flab and when he looks down you can’t even see his eyes. He thinks he’s better than anyone. I love how he takes up my whole bed so I’m down the crack. How he snores, and twitches in his sleep and I have to wake him up to stop it. I love how he comes on the trampoline with us sometimes. I love how he probably would pick food over anyone or anything in the world. I love how I used to be his favourite person but then he moved onto my Dad because he always fed him but now Jasper is coming back to the good side (ME!).

I love how he is such a poser and how he’s my favourite thing in the WHOLE WORLD. I love how I would pick him over anyone. I love how he comes mainly everywhere with me and how my friends and anyone who sees him instantly falls in love with him.

I love everything about him!

Springsteen

How cute is my dog Springsteen? He is adorable, funny, loving and of course cute!!! He makes me laugh so much. Here he is with his favourite toy!!!

Tango

Hello. My name is Aimee and I am a Brownie in Bulls. I have a fluffy guinea pig called Speedy, a naughty mini lop rabbit named Thumper and a faithful dog called Tango. My dog is my favourite pet because she has a beautiful personality and she is loyal to my family. She loves us to bits and she goes everywhere with us. She LOVES water and always swims out in the deep lake chasing me and my brother on the biscuit behind the jetski. She is 11.5 years old and she still acts like a puppy although she is starting to slow down. The other thing I love about my dog is she is good friends with the rabbit who we let out in the yard and she is very sociable - even to babies. Mum thinks she only likes little kids because she's after food! I have taken Tango to three pet days at school and we have won placings every year.

Lillie-Rose Wright

The reason I love Lillie so much is because she is always there for me and knows when I'm sad or happy.

She's hyper and full of mischief but she wouldn't hurt a fly, she even hugs the cat and misses him when he's gone.

My cat is the best as she loves hiding in boxes and loves eating chips with me. She has the loudest purrs ever and only likes me and my mum.

Heidi Jane Mcfarlane

I love my cat called Heidi because she snuggles with my teddy and purrs like a motor. Her full name is Heidi Jane Mcfarlane. She likes catching lizards and birds. She play fights with our dog Zak. She was called Heidi because when we bought her home she immediately hid under a small giraffe ornament and kept looking for small hiding places.

We love her lots!!!
