Abel Tasman Tramping Discovery

This Discovery is a chance to tramp and explore the stunning golden beaches and native bush along the Abel Tasman Coastal Track.
This one on New Zealand’s Great Walks situated at the top of the South Island, about one hour from Nelson.
When: 27 Sep - 2 Oct 2009 (1st week of school holidays)
Where: Abel Tasman National Park - Start and finish in Nelson
Who: Guides and Rangers aged 10 – 18 years, from first timers to experts! There will be the option of splitting into two groups depending on fitness/energy.
Cost: $250*

The purpose of the week is to get out and active, learn some tramping skills, have fun and meet new friends.
The cost is all inclusive of:
- food
- accommodation
- water taxi and bus transfer
- hut passes
*Please note, the cost does not include travel to and from Nelson. It may be possible to organise transfers from Picton to Nelson for those wishing to come across on the ferry.
As spaces are limited to 16, early application is recommended, first in first served basis.
