Canterbury North

What has Canterbury North been up to in 2012?

Why not tell us what you have been doing in your unit so far this year?

I know you have been out camping, doing Community Service and generally having a lot of GirlGuiding Adventures - lets show everyone what we have been doing!

Forward any stories or photos on to your Leader, District Co-ordinator, Regional Co-ordinator or the Southern Zone Office so they can be published here.

Upcoming Events and Activities

Training for girl camping badges and permits

February 2012

Camp Cook Badge - 1.30 - 3.45
Theory training on what the girls will need to have and some idea's on menu options, etc

Camper Badge - 12.00 - 1.30
Covering some of the questions the assessors may ask, and a quick look at a square tent.

Girls need to bring their own morning tea and lunch, as required, depending on what sessions they are attending.

Each girl will need a copy of the Camp Out Booklet, and for the Camp Permit girls the Figure It Out section as well. The training is intended for the girl being assessed and they don't need to bring their team.

Closing date for registrations is 13 July, please specify which sessions the girls want to attend, no late registrations will be accepted.

In order to maintain ratio's we will need unit leaders or parents to stay. We will also need permission and health forms for the emergency contact details.
