Nowadays you don’t have to travel the world to get to try new foods. There’s a huge range of different restaurants in New Zealand - from African to Asian; Continental to Chinese; Pacific to Polish and more! But it can be even more fun to try cooking something foreign at home. It doesn’t have to be too hard with a list of unusual ingredients a mile long. Sometimes it’s simply a few new herbs and spices that give things a new kick. Besides, most of the supermarket chains now stock a variety of international ingredients and many towns have Asian stores that sell super-exotic stuff. Go take a peek and see what you think! use unusual combinations – such as using fruit in savoury dishes not just
desserts. Of course there’s eating exotic and then there’s just plain
weird – fancy some deep-fried grasshopper???
I DON’T think so!!
