Assistance in funding will be awarded to girls/women who wish to extend their guiding experiences or horizons. This may be within New Zealand or overseas.

An additional category of funding is offered in 2012, for special projects undertaken by Units, Districts or Regions such as recruitment drives, advocacy or community action projects. A separate application form is provided for "Special Projects", so please ensure you complete the relevant one. The "General" application form covers events, fees or uniform costs.

Amount available: Grant amounts will be awarded on a case by case basis.

Who may apply? Any enrolled member of GirlGuiding New Zealand. One application is to be made per member per round. Applications can be made by Unit Leaders, District and/or Regional Co-ordinators on behalf of other guiding members (eg. girls in their units/districts/regions). If a group is attending an event and wishes to apply for funding then each member of the group that seeks assistance should submit an application.

How to apply: Application forms are available from the link below. Please note that all applications require the endorsement of your Regional Co-ordinator.  Incomplete or applications received on previous forms will not be accepted.

Applications for the First Round Closed: 31 March 2012

Applications for the Second Round Closed: 31 July 2012

All applications received after the closing dates will be considered in the next round of funding.
