Bay of Plenty
What has Bay of Plenty been up to in 2012?Why not tell us what you have been doing in your unit so far this year? I know you have been out camping, doing Community Service and generally having a lot of GirlGuiding Adventures - lets show everyone what we have been doing! Forward any stories or photos on to your Leader, District Co-ordinator, Regional Co-ordinator or the Central North Zone Office so they can be published here. Thanks from Mount CoastalThe Mount Coastal GirlGuiding District and Sea Scouts would like to acknowledge that the The Lion Foundation has accepted their application to fund the painting of the exterior of Banks Hall - the Girl Guide and Sea Scout Hall. The last time the hall was painted was over 10 years ago and it is looking very tired. There are many community groups that use this hall as well as Guiding and Scout groups. By painting the Girl Guide and Sea Scout hall, it reflects the pride we have in our image to our local community. Our organisations would like to say a huge thank you for your help. Thanks also to the Pub Charity Foundation for accepting our application for the removal and replacement of the lining of Banks Hall. The Pub Charity Foundation also assisted 38 girls and four leaders to go to Jamboree at Tui Ridge... Over the years Pub Charity has helped the Mount Coastal GirlGuiding District by assisting them with a monetary contribution towards uniforms, trainings and previous jamborees. We are very grateful for their assistance and parents and leaders want to say a big thank you again to Pub Charity. Janet Reekie Document Actions |
