For many members of GirlGuiding New Zealand the international aspect of GirlGuiding has broadened horizons, extended experience and initiated lasting friendships. One of the aims of GirlGuiding New Zealand is to introduce awareness of International GirlGuiding to girls. International education is always an integral part of our programme.

The World Association of GirlGuiding and Girl Scouts is the largest and most diversified youth movement for girls today. Through local programmes, international events, publications and visits, it gives members a real opportunity for global understanding and participation.
