Here are some tips that might assist your photographic skills...

Photo tips

• Take lots of photos of the same activity but try and do something different in each photo – remember you can always delete them!
  
•  Being happy and having a great smile always makes a good photo.
  
• Other good photos come from showing people concentrating, listening, talking – not posing.
  
• One face can be in focus – the other’s don’t have to be! You can take photos of people taking photos.
  
•  Photos don’t necessarily have to be of faces, they can be girls’ backs, their badges, etc. They don’t have to be looking at the camera.
  
• Try and take photos with the sun behind you but watch out for those shadows.
  
• Action shots are always great!

Technical tips

• We need high-resolution images. Sometimes when you email them, the resolution is too low to print them successfully.
  
• For non-digital shots, the print you submit must be sharp and clear.
