Our History
Lord Robert Baden-Powell founded Girl Guides in the UK in 1910. Girl Peace Scouts began to form in New Zealand and by 1923, they had become the Girl Guides Association, Dominion of New Zealand.
Promise and Law
Girls, regardless of race, faith or other circumstances, may become enrolled members of GirlGuiding New Zealand as long as they are able to understand, and are willing to make the promise.
