We welcome all girls from 5 years old and women of all ages and backgrounds.
Girls 5 - 17 years
At GirlGuiding New Zealand, girls are always counting down to their next adventure. Joining us you will make a bunch of new friends and have a ton of new experiences that show you how exciting the world is, and how awesome you are.
Leaders/Volunteers
By volunteering with us you will offer girls and young women support and guidance. It is a great opportunity to meet new people, while making a real contribution to your community. You can put your talents to good use as well as polish life skills and develop new skills, enjoy different activities, have great fun and help girls build their confidence and try something new at the same time - what could be better?
Connect 16 - 25 years
Connect offers an exciting and flexible programme with a huge variety of challenges and opportunities for personal development. Members of Connect can choose from a wide range of unique and exciting opportunities, including international experiences, volunteering within GirlGuiding NZ as a mentor or leader, learning new skills, staying in touch, having fun and working towards valuable qualifications.
Making a video - we challenged girls
We challenged girls to come up with ideas on how to get people they know to say ‘yes’ to becoming a leader. We wanted our girls to think about what Guiding means to them and what makes a good leader, then identify a person and come up with a plan to make whoever they selected as their ‘target’, feel special and appreciated – all to invite more volunteer leaders to join us.
