Making a video

We challenged girls to come up with ideas on how to get people they know to say ‘yes’ to becoming a leader. We wanted our girls to think about what Guiding means to them and what makes a good leader, then identify a person and come up with a plan to make whoever they selected as their ‘target’, feel special and appreciated – all to invite more volunteer leaders to join us.

We are always looking for volunteer leaders so more girls can enjoy what Guiding can offer. There are so many girls around the country that can’t wait to take part and in order to help bring the fun to these girls; GirlGuiding New Zealand needs you to volunteer.

By volunteering you can show girls that anything is possible, inspire them to dream big and to go further than they ever imagined. You can help provide new and exciting experiences, great opportunities and create memories that will last a lifetime.
