Aoraki Award - Charlotte's report

Hi my name's Charlotte. This is my report for the Aoraki Award.

My name is Charlotte and I go to Cambridge Endeavour Guides in the Waipa, Waikato.

A few of the things I have enjoyed at Guides is running my own camp being around girls my age and making a lot of new friends.

The skills that I have learnt are, leading a patrol group, being caring and putting others before myself.

My greatest achievement was running my own camp as there was a lot of planning to do and achieving this award as well.

My favourite part of going to guides was going to Camp at Finlay Park.  We had a lot of fun there, as there were heaps of things to do as well as a long waterslide going into the lake.

I have showed my leadership by, being good at running and organising games and by respecting others in everything that we do; I use these skills in everyday life.

I have lived by my promise by helping others and thinking of their needs before me.

The most challenging part for me was being organised in running my camp and making sure that I had everything.

I would like to thank my leaders for being so awesome and helping me with everything throughout my time at Guides.  I would like to also say thank you to my Mum for being there for me when I needed her guidance.
