Aoraki Award - Grace's report

Hi my name's Grace. This is my report for the Aoraki Award.

I’ve really enjoyed my time at Guides and feel like it has made me a better leader and more confident in my abilities

I think my favourite part of my Guide experience has been the many camps I have been on. I have been lucky enough to be part of a Science camp, a Wizarding for Muggles, camp Nottingham set in Robin Hood times, a Master-chef camp and many more. One of the highlights was attending Jamboree in Christchurch January last year, it was hot and windy! I made lots of friends and tried new things but my favourite part was collecting swaps from girls all around New Zealand and the world.

Over all I have really loved being in Guiding and it has really broadened my understanding of leadership in the community.
